CALLING
Garry’s and Annette’s calling is to glorify Jesus Christ: To resource, teach, equip and establish the priesthood of all believer’s in their identity, intimacy, calling and spiritual authority as beloved children of God. To empower believers to share the Good News of Jesus Christ, confirmed by the signs and wonders of the Holy Spirit. To help re-establish the Church to manifest the supernatural power of the Word and the Holy Spirit so as to flow outward in ministry and missions. To encourage God’s people to be a prophetic catalyst and blessing, first in their local community and then to the ends of the earth. To the advance the Kingdom of God in acts of love, compassion, mercy and grace, especially to the poor and broken. Garry and Annette’s mandate is based on Isaiah 61.

FAMILY
Garry is 69 years old and has been married to Annette since 1981. Together, Garry and Annette have raised three children and four Zulu foster children. They have seven grandchildren. Garry and Annette considers the traditional Christian family to be the backbone of a prosperous and Godly society.

SELF SUPPORT
Garry has a Civil Engineering and property development background. Before 1996 they successfully ran their own property and building development company. Annette has a nusing diploma and is a trained prayer counselor. Garry and Annette have an active rental property portfolio through which God provides their support. Garry loves entrepreneurship, surfing, fishing and adventuring in the great outdoors.

MINISTRY BACKGROUND
Garry and Annette came out of a New Age spiritual background and were saved in 1991. They have been in full time, self supporting ministry and missions since 1996. Garry was originally ordained in the Anglican church and simultaneously ministered for ten years as South African National Co-ordinater of New Wine Ministries (UK). Garry also headed up a cross denominational deliverance ministry during this time.

In 2002 Garry and Annette founded the NPOs Heart to Heart and OrphanAID which cared for, and discipled, over 150 AIDS orphans among the Zulu people in the Valley of 1000 Hills, KZN. At the same time Garry and Annette oversaw the Grace-Love-Truth group of house churches. In 2018, they passed oversight of all these linked ministries to a younger local team with whom they still have connections. Garry and Annette then joined the leadership of Hillside Church in Hillcrest and also headed up the (now disbabded) Awaken Africa School of Missions. Since 2022 Garry and Annette minister as part of the leadership team of WAVE Church, and now live in Ballito, KZN, South Africa.

EMPOWERING FOR MISSIONS
Garry is a teacher and an evangelist. Over the years Garry has taught at YWAM and Garry and Annette have both been trained at Youth With A Mission. Mobilizing and actuvating the church and penetrating new spiritual territory is a primary part of their calling in these latter years. Garry has taught in churches and mission organizations of all backgrounds and denominations throughout Africa, USA, Korea, EU and in other nations. Garry desires to see churches bought together in unity as the kingdom and the gospel is preached and local churches planted. Garry loves to activate and teach on The Holy Spirit, The Gifts, The Father’s Heart, The New Covenant, The Word, Evangelism etc. Annette ministers inner healing and freedom to individual believers.

CHURCH COMMUNITY
Garry and Annette also have a desire to see and encourage self-sustaining, authentic, community, lived out in conjunction with local churches. They believe that local church is God’s solution in every community and that it is the product of kinhdom preaching and advancing.
