We are proud to partner with Bear Paw Camp in Newport, Wa. Our church has been impacted, as well as, students that we have personally sent to intern or serve a summer. The growth we have seen in the lives of students has been life altering in the best way! At Bear Paw, these students learn leadership, servanthood, how to be a true disciple of Jesus Christ, and how to love people well! Bear Paw Camp is a dynamic, influential, and effective, Spirit-filled Christian discipleship space, whose current impact and potential impact cannot be quantified by words, numbers, or works. On the grounds of this camp, I have been both personally impacted and have had the opportunity to impact others while at Bear Paw Camp. Firstly, my wife, and I were both baptized in the Spirit while attending a worship night at camp. The impact of this one event has brought the favor of the Lord on our family in ways we could not have imagined. Additionally, my oldest daughter has spent several summers interning at Bear Paw. She, and other youth/adult leaders, have learned the value of hard work while helping to run the camp during the busy summer season, but they have also been afforded the opportunity to engage in real discipleship and ministry opportunities. My oldest son also spent a summer being activated and discipled during the internship, which has transformed and engaged him in ministry with a palpable spiritual vigor. That vigor can only be explained by a working of the Holy Spirit in him, the faithfulness and commitment that Jason McQuinn (camp owner and head discipleship ministry mentor and coordinator) and his ministry staff have toward God, and their anointing, and calling to lead and disciple those whom God has brought into their sphere of influence.

It takes the body of Christ to be spiritually healthy and train up a child in the way that they should go. My daughter and son have flourished spiritually under their care, mentorship, and discipleship. In the internship the interns are challenged to grow and expand their physical, mental, and spiritual capacities in a biblical and meaningful way. Both of my children and my family would not be the spiritual leaders and people that we are today had we not had an undeniable encounter with Jesus Christ at Bear Paw Camp. I highly recommend this internship for any serious, humble, and genuine Christians who are looking to expand themselves and their commitment to their anointing and calling that God has for them in the Body of Christ.
